The Customer Care Specialist I role is a critical position within our contact center, requiring a high level of professionalism, independence, and problem-solving skills. As the primary customer support representative, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries, issues, and concerns.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with customers to resolve issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with escalation partners to identify and document exceptions to standard processes, creating a list of best practices.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers through problem-solving, consulting, and educating them about Manheim and ancillary partners.
- Identify, assess, and resolve issues, determining who needs communication on these issues, including central functions such as IT or Product, or any such Manheim Partners.
- May work across other departments to train on resolving different client issues.
- Provide responsive, timely telephone, chat, and email support, acting as the single point-of-contact for customer issues from identification through resolution.
- Oversee/monitor the resolution to all problems, regardless of delegation to other departments.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Generally, less than 2 years of experience
We offer a competitive hourly base pay rate of $23.75/hour, with opportunities for additional compensation through commission and/or an incentive program. Our benefits package includes a minimum of 16 hours of paid time off every month, 7 paid holidays, and additional paid time off for bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
