Position Overview

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is actively seeking a traveling CT Technologist for a unique opportunity in the healthcare sector.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CT machinery to generate detailed cross-sectional images of patients' anatomy, which are essential for diagnosing various medical conditions.

Key Duties
  • Position patients accurately for CT imaging, utilizing necessary immobilization and protective equipment.
  • Adjust and monitor equipment settings, ensuring optimal image quality while observing patient safety.
  • Assist radiologists during imaging procedures, including starting IVs and administering contrast materials as needed.
  • Evaluate and label CT images for technical quality, ensuring proper sequencing of processed images.
  • Schedule patient appointments and assist with administrative tasks related to imaging services.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to national patient safety standards.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of eighteen months of experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
  • Current ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification is required.
  • Licensure may be necessary in certain states.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
