Key Responsibilities- Project Oversight: Monitor construction projects to ensure they are progressing as planned, and make adjustments as needed to stay on track.
- Financial Management: Review and manage project budgets, including direct cost payment requisitions, budget status, and contingency planning.
- Contractor Management: Review and approve contractors' work, including subcontractor default insurance, change orders, and lien waivers.
- Communication: Prepare project status reports, recommend the release of construction funds, and communicate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and architects.
- Quality Control: Review contract drawings and specifications to ensure they meet industry standards and best practices.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, including construction and disbursement schedules, and develop strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in construction and/or project management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior project management role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
