Commodities Trader

Boutique buy-side client seeks a top-tier trader with expertise in trading instruments across various asset classes.

• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to optimize trade execution for passive and quantitative investment strategies.
• Execute daily trades and develop strategies for derivatives trading in existing portfolios.

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar trading role and a bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, finance, or computer science.
• Trade execution experience in IG Corporate Credit, Structured finance products, municipal credit, or high-yield corporates.
• Experience with algorithmic, dark pool, and automated trading strategies, tools, and platforms.
• Strong understanding of primary drivers of security returns, such as duration, delta, and beta.
• Direct experience with OMS workflow and front-office operations.
• Familiarity with transaction cost analysis tools and methods.
• Ability to thrive in a team-based high-volume environment.
• Strong understanding of buy-side operations and compliance responsibilities.
• Proficient with technology, including spreadsheets and data manipulation.
