Job Summary:

Mathiowetz Construction Co. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, and servicing a wide variety of light, medium, and heavy automotive equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy equipment and machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of equipment
  • Operate various types of shop equipment and machinery
  • Supervise a team of shop crew during winter maintenance season

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Post-secondary degree in automotive or diesel mechanics preferred
  • Class A Commercial Vehicle Driver's License with tanker double triple and Hazardous Material endorsements required
  • Current and valid driver's license with clean driving record required
