About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Thoracic Surgery Nurse to join our team at Mass General Brigham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and compassionate nurse to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Thoracic Intermediate Surgical unit.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing thoracic surgery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and excellent patient outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advances in thoracic surgery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts
  • Experience working in a thoracic surgery setting, preferably on an intermediate surgical unit
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities in a fast-paced environment
