Paraprofessional with CDL-B

The Menta Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paraprofessional with CDL-B to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and behavioral needs of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Manage classroom behaviors and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Provide CDL-B transportation to and from school and as needed during school hours.
- Report behavioral concerns of students to appropriate staff and implement behavioral program policies and data.
- Maintain classroom order and safety, and provide general supervision of students inside the school setting.
- Assist in the prevention and management of incidents of non-compliance and/or escalation in behavior.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide interventions to students to assist in managing behaviors.
- CDL-B certification.
- Paraprofessional certification or the ability to obtain Paraprofessional certification.
- Able to work with high-risk special needs students.
- Security or Juvenile Justice background is helpful.
- Good driving record and willingness to drive student van is preferred.
- Military Veterans are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to operate tactfully under stress.
- Flexibility to change in routines.
- At least 23 years of age.
