Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Registered Nurse Coordinator on our Med/Surg Unit at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an assigned unit or clinic section within the hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of an assigned unit or clinic section, ensuring optimal patient flow and efficient use of hospital resources.
  • Schedule employee shifts and ensure admitting and discharge functions are running smoothly.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Assign patients to appropriate health practitioners and perform other administrative functions as necessary.
Requirements
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire.
  • American Red Cross approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
  • Telemetry experience and a minimum of 3 years of Med/Surg experience in an acute care hospital setting required.
