As a Federally Qualified Health Center, we are committed to offering essential services to individuals who may lack access to healthcare. Our mission is to foster a healthier community by providing exceptional medical care, preventive services, care coordination, and same-day appointments.
Work Schedule and Benefits:
We offer flexible full-time or part-time positions accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, life, and disability insurance, along with a retirement plan featuring a generous employer match. Our providers are entitled to paid vacation, sick leave, and continuing medical education (CME) time. Additionally, this role includes the assistance of a virtual scribe.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of two years of experience in primary care.
- Ability to uphold confidentiality and deliver care that respects patient autonomy and dignity.
- Efficient time management skills to enhance patient access to care.
- Proficient in computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Basic understanding of billing and reimbursement processes.
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure to practice in the state of Maine.
- Current DEA License, including Schedule II Privileges.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
