Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic CT Technologist to join our team at Cone Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during Computed Tomography (CT) procedures and diagnostic imaging examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and special CT and diagnostic exams adhering to established protocols to minimize additional imaging and limit radiation dose.
  • Follow instructions from physicians regarding which area of the patient?s body needs imaging.
  • Position the patient correctly and adjust the imaging equipment to the specified position to create quality images of specific parts of the body.
  • Review and assess patient medical histories to determine appropriate imaging parameters for accurate results.
  • Operate and maintain advanced CT equipment, adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular maintenance checks.
  • Record and document all CT scans and associated information in Computerized Health Information (CHL) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program.
  • BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
  • ARRT: RT(R)(CT), RT(N)(CT), NMTCB: CNMT, NMTCB(CT), or Combination: ARRT RT(N) and NMTCB(CT), OR CNMT and ARRT(CT), OR ARRT RT(R) and NMTCB(CT), OR ARRT RT(T) and NMTCB(CT).
