Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Packaging Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience in the food and beverage industry and be proficient in operating bakery depositors, flow wrapper machines, and bag filler machines. Key responsibilities include:
- Operate and monitor the production line for personal safety, product quality, and asset efficiency.
- Operate case erector, packaging, sealing, and palletizing equipment.
- Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow.
- Conduct standard product inspections.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to ensure production equipment runs efficiently.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Experience using bakery depositors, flow wrapper machines, and bag filler machines.
- Ability to lift, carry, push/pull cases weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly over long periods of time.
Work EnvironmentAs a member of our production team, you can expect to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be required to walk or stand most of the time during the shift and may include stooping, crawling, and crouching over/under conveyors and equipment. It is essential that you wear non-slip shoes at all times while on the production floor.
