The Substance Testing Program Specialist role at Rose International involves a mix of analytical and administrative tasks to support the company's drug and alcohol testing programs.

About the Position:

This is a temporary position with an estimated duration of 13 months, offering competitive pay rates in the range of $30.00-$32.46 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data trends and issues to resolve challenges promptly, utilizing strong business skills to provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliant administration of DOT drug and alcohol programs, as well as adherence to Delta's company policies.
  • Audit and process drug and alcohol history checks for new hires and transfers into safety-sensitive roles.
  • Oversee collection of required DOT paperwork for all safety-sensitive new hires and transfers, ensuring timely completion of necessary forms.
  • Research and respond to requests from other airlines for drug and alcohol testing records, maintaining DOT compliance.
  • Fulfill data and analytics requests for key STP projects, including annual MIS reports, monthly trend reports, and ad hoc projects.
  • Partner with stakeholders to complete and maintain standard monthly reports regarding STP activity.
  • Maintain accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resource Management preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Familiarity with workplace drug and alcohol testing programs or regulated programs in the airline industry is a plus.
  • Ability to review and analyze data trends and issues to resolve challenges promptly, providing actionable information.
  • Results-oriented, detail-focused individual with consistent follow-through and self-motivation.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • At least 2-4 years of direct professional-level experience.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, with ability to manage multiple projects in a demanding environment.
  • Exceptional customer service and team player with good written and oral communication skills.
