**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Road Maintenance Professional to join our team in Fort Jones, CA. As a key member of our Public Works department, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing county roads, bridges, landfills, and drainage systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain and repair county roads, bridges, landfills, and drainage systems
  • Operate light equipment, including trucks and related equipment
  • Perform oil and chip seal work on roads
  • Conduct sign maintenance and repair
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of construction equipment

**Requirements:**

  • One year of road maintenance work and construction experience comparable to that of a Road Maintenance Worker Aide
  • Training and background in truck or light equipment operations
  • Valid driver's license
