Certified Medication Aide

We're seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide to join our team at National Lutheran Communities & Services. As a Certified Medication Aide, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the right medications at the right time, with a caring touch.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer medications to patients with care and precision, following prescribed orders
* Observe and report any changes in patients' conditions or medication reactions
* Maintain accurate and detailed medication administration records
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members about medications and care
* Assist in monitoring medication inventory
* Provide compassionate support to patients during medication administration
* Ensure compliance with medication safety protocols and regulations
* Participate in care planning meetings, offering insights on medication-related matters
* Assist with patient education regarding medications, demonstrating empathy and patience
* Collaborate closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
