Job Summary:



We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Cleaner to join our team at Bluechip Corporation. As a General Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.



Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:




  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities in assigned buildings/facilities, including dusting, sanitizing, and spot cleaning.
  • Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
  • Clean and maintain public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and stairs.
  • High dust and clean windows, ledges, and other high surfaces.
  • Operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and mops.
  • Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities.


Additional Responsibilities:




  • Follow oral and written instructions to ensure compliance with safety and cleaning procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Interpret written instructions and warning labels on cleaning chemicals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed by supervisor and/or Account Manager.


Qualifications:

Requirements:



To be successful as a General Cleaner, you should possess the following qualifications:




  • Knowledge of basic operations of janitorial work.
  • Knowledge of basic methods, materials, and equipment used in janitorial work.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment.
  • Ability to maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities.


Working Conditions:



This is a full-time position, and you will be required to work a standard 8-hour shift, 40 hours per week. You will be required to wear a uniform and follow all safety and cleaning procedures.
