Day Custodian

Job Summary:

The Day Custodian will perform custodial work required for the routine opening of buildings, cleaning, maintenance, and operation of assigned areas. This role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of school facilities, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform custodial work, including cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining assigned areas.
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment and supplies.
• Assist with special events and projects as needed.
• Collaborate with the Custodial Manager, Assistant Custodial Manager, and Head Custodian to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Communicate with colleagues and supervisors to address any issues or concerns.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, is required.
