The technician will serve as a liaison for patients and their families, ensuring effective communication with emergency department physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.


Safety Considerations:

This position is classified as "safety sensitive," meaning that any impairment in performance could pose risks to the health and safety of patients and staff. Therefore, individuals engaged in the use of medical marijuana, even with a valid medical card, will not be eligible for this role.

The Emergency Department Technician is responsible for assisting with patient care, which is vital for maintaining the flow of patients through the emergency department.
