Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Machinist Grind Setter/Operator to join our team at RBC Bearings. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating various grinding machines, including mechanical and CNC equipment, to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate grinding machines to produce parts to specification
  • Follow established procedures to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Use basic hand tools, measuring equipment, and read blueprints to complete production and quality documentation
  • Comply with internal quality systems and procedures
  • Attend work regularly and be available to work overtime as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous mechanical/manufacturing experience, particularly in ID, OD, double disc, or centerless grinding
  • Manual dexterity and ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs and work on your feet for the entire shift
