Nursing Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Care Specialist to join our Medical Telemetry Unit at Odessa Regional Medical Center.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires providing direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition, and have a strong understanding of general nursing duties.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing routine procedures.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurse managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit efficiency.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Texas.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of employment.
$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
