Physician - Hospitalist - Swing Shift - Monroe, NC

Atrium Health's Carolinas Hospitalist Group in Monroe, NC is seeking a skilled Physician to join our team at our Union location. As a Hospitalist Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Responsibilities- Perform medical history, physical examinations, routine assessments, and determine treatment plans for patients.
- Document all patient encounters, records observations, interventions, and actions in a timely and medically appropriate manner on the patient's medical record.
- Act as a patient and family advocate for the population served.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement priorities, service delivery processes, and service excellence initiatives.
- Adhere to access & productivity policies & protocols to ensure that patients' access to convenient care is optimized.
- Adhere to standards and care protocols to deliver appropriate, innovative, and cost-effective care management in-person and virtually.
- Actively and regularly participate in assigned meetings/committees.
- Model Atrium Health Core Values.
- Adhere to Medical Group Minimum Work Standards.
- Degree of MD or DO from accredited medical school.
- Board Eligibility in a clinical discipline is required; Board Certification in a clinical discipline is required within three years of start date/contract effective date; Once obtained, Maintenance of Certification is required.
