Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse RN with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care to join our Acute Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong nursing background, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

As a Nurse Specialist in Medical Observation, you will assist in creating and managing nursing care plans, participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of patients, and provide direct patient care to adults with various medical diagnoses.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessment data and clinical judgment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree and experience in acute care, medical-surgical, or cardiac telemetry are highly desirable.
