Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Job Summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and special magnetic resonance imaging procedures. You will work closely with our team to ensure that patients receive high-quality care and that our imaging procedures are conducted safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MR imaging studies and obtain patient history
Explain routine procedures and address patient concerns
Administer intravenous contrast media under the direct supervision of a physician
Recognize complications and treat appropriately
Schedule cases to coordinate with other patient examinations
Position and transfer patients comfortably
Immobilize patients as necessary and practice MRI safety procedures

Requirements:

2 years of relevant experience
Basic Life Support certification
Registered Technologist-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification or Certified MRI Technologist (CMRT) certification
