Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying finishes to parts using spray painting equipment.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating spray painting equipment and be able to maintain quality and avoid defects. Additionally, you will be responsible for examining materials to ensure conformance to established standards and identifying defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate spray painting equipment to apply finishes to parts
  • Hang parts onto an overhead chain conveyor with hoist and/or manually
  • Monitor performance to maintain quality and avoid defects
  • Examine materials to ensure conformance to established standards and identify defects
  • Inform supervisor of defects and equipment issues immediately
  • Clean and maintain the paint line, spray guns, hoses, etc.
  • Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specifications
  • Follow instructions as provided by supervisor
  • Adhere to all company safety regulations, including those regarding machine operation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Knowledge of quality assurance
  • General labor
  • Freelancer
  • Read and interpret shop drawings and prints
