Additionally, we provide 100% paid on-the-job training. Job DescriptionAs a Signaling Supervisor - Roadside Operations, you will direct motorists by flagging them away from worker activities, moving equipment, and oncoming traffic. You will be responsible for performing flagger position duties at job sites based on site plans and contractor directions. This includes setting up signs, cones, etc. around work areas to divert traffic, completing daily paperwork accurately and timely, operating a 2-way radio, and working under the supervision of the Project Manager, TCT, or TCS. You will also communicate with contractors and relate specific customer/job changes and other information to the Supervisor, Project Manager, office staff, or others. Providing the highest level of customer service to all customers is essential in this role. You will work efficiently in a team environment and independently when assigned. Required Skills and QualificationsWe are seeking a valid driver's license holder who holds a current Flagger certification or has the ability to pass Company-sponsored Flagger Certification (ATSSA). The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead a small crew, successfully complete a company-sponsored Defensive Driver training, and pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements. You must be able to wear proper safety equipment and be comfortable being regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving equipment, and machinery parts, as well as working around moving traffic, fumes, airborne particles, and moderate/loud noise levels. Additionally, you should be able to lift/move more than 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
