Job Description:

Indorama Ventures is seeking a skilled Console Operator to join our team at our Port Neches, Texas facility. As a Console Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the chemical production process, ensuring the safety and integrity of the equipment and personnel.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor DCS alarms, graphics, and screens to track process conditions and make adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure the safe operation of the process, following operating procedures and quality control plans.
  • Communicate effectively with field operators and other teams to resolve issues and maintain process stability.
  • Participate in audits, investigations, and quality efforts to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, and assist in troubleshooting issues.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree in Process Operating Technology preferred.
  • 5 years of operator experience in a petrochemical or refinery setting required.
  • 2 years of console operator experience in a petrochemical or refinery setting preferred.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in SAP, Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office programs.
