Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships

Pear VC is expanding its influence in the venture capital sector. We are looking for a strategic and seasoned Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to spearhead the development and execution of our partnership initiatives. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment where innovation, agility, and collaboration are essential for success. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Your Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the CEO to define the organization's vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overarching business and impact goals.
  • Formulate and execute strategic plans to foster business expansion.
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities within the industry.
  • Negotiate agreements with stakeholders and partners.
  • Manage and nurture key relationships with clients and partners.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure cohesive alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, participate in industry events, and represent the company at conferences.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
Your Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; a graduate degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years in a leadership role focused on business development, ideally with experience in the venture capital or startup ecosystem.
  • A proven track record of leadership in investment firms or similar organizations, preferably in a high-growth environment.
  • Expertise in identifying and validating new partnership opportunities and crafting compelling business cases.
  • Strong consultative sales approach with demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to excel in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
