Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be at the forefront of patient communications, listening and developing relationships with those who seek our quality, heartfelt care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, and maintaining confidential information.
  • Maintain controlled medication and required documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement plans, practices, and processes to better achieve organizational goals, including identifying and recommending ways to continually improve and streamline processes and practices.
  • Model compliance with company policies and procedures, demonstrating ethical performance and supporting efforts to enforce compliance.
  • Build trusting, collaborative relationships and alliances across functional and organizational boundaries, relating to others in an accepting and respectful manner, regardless of their organizational level, personality, or background.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
