Salary Estimate: $60-$80 per hour, based on national averages and location
About the JobThis 12-week contract position is available immediately, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week. You will work a 12-hour night shift, Friday to Sunday, with some holiday rotation. This role requires minimal on-call duties and floating between Main, ART, and Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans, adhering to established protocols and guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and regulations
- Provide excellent patient communication and education, addressing any concerns or questions
- Foster a positive and supportive team environment, promoting open communication and collaboration
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in CT technology, with a minimum of 1 year of experience. ARRT (R) (CT) certification is mandatory, along with SCRQSA (R) (CT) registration. Siemens experience and trauma 1 exposure are highly desirable. Additionally, proficiency in paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, and drainage procedures is essential.
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT (R) (CT) certification
- SCRQSA (R) (CT) registration
- Siemens experience (desired)
- Trauma 1 exposure (desired)
