Canine Trainer

We are looking for an experienced Dog Behaviorist to join our team at Dog Brothers Inc.

The estimated salary for this role is $20,000 - $28,000 per year.

About the Role

This position involves working closely with clients to understand their dogs' behavior and develop personalized training plans to address any concerns.

As a dog behaviorist, you will need to possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of animal behavior and body language.

Key Responsibilities

• Assessing Canine Behavior: Evaluate canine behavior and identify areas for improvement.
• Developing Training Plans: Create customized training plans to address specific behavioral concerns.
• Working with Clients: Collaborate with clients to educate them on how to use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good behavior in their dogs.
• Training Dogs: Train dogs using various techniques to help them overcome behavioral issues.

Requirements

• Sound Knowledge: Familiarity with dog training techniques, animal behavior, and body language.
• Proven Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience working as a dog trainer or behaviorist.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
• Dog Handling Skills: Strong dog handling skills.
• Effective Communication: Effective communication skills.
• Patient and Enthusiastic: Patient and enthusiastic towards working with dogs.
