Venous Disease Specialist Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Venous Disease Specialist Physician Assistant to join our team in Albany, NY.
Job SummaryThis full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to work with a team of experienced surgeons specializing in minimally invasive and endovascular procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with various venous diseases, including chronic venous insufficiency, acute and chronic deep vein thrombosis (DVT), superficial vein thrombosis (SVT), and lymphedema.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and diagnose patients with venous disease using clinical expertise and advanced diagnostic techniques
- Initiate treatment plans for patients with venous disease, including medications, compression therapy, and interventional procedures
- Follow up with established patients to monitor their condition and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and contribute to the accreditation process of our Vein Center
- NYS licensure and DEA certification required
- Graduation from an AMA-approved NP or PA program
- Board Certification
- At least 1 year of previous procedure-related experience is required
