Key Responsibilities:
- Pest Management: Conduct thorough inspections to identify pest activity sources. Develop and implement effective solutions using a range of products and services to eliminate pest issues. Execute pest treatments and install preventive measures to ensure a pest-free environment. Maintain and operate service vehicles and equipment.
- Customer Relations: Build strong relationships with customers through friendly and professional interactions during service visits. Address customer needs by providing tailored solutions to pest problems and recommending appropriate services. Inform customers about additional service options that could enhance their experience.
- Ongoing Education: Gain expertise in the diverse range of Rentokil Initial products and services through comprehensive, paid training. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations in pest management. Participate in training sessions on new methods and products within the Rentokil Initial pest control portfolio. Obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications as required by local, state, and federal regulations, with costs covered by Rentokil Initial.
Position Requirements:
- Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug testing.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and passing of a motor vehicle record check.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous customer-facing experience is preferred.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and become knowledgeable in pest management.
- Ability to work independently after a training period.
