Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work with our clients in Hayward, California.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in a therapy setting and be able to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a COTA in a therapy setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
