Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our team at Indiana United Methodist Children's Home. As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing mental health services to youth and families, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical treatment plans for youth and families, utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, as well as crisis intervention and case management services.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing therapy sessions, utilizing a trauma-informed approach.
  • Communicate effectively with youth, families, and treatment teams, ensuring clear and timely information exchange.
  • Participate in court hearings and educational events, advocating for the best interests of youth and families.
  • Document all interactions, sessions, and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited institution.
  • 2+ years of experience providing mental health treatment, preferably in a residential or outpatient setting.
  • LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT licensure in the State of Indiana.
  • Certification/training in TF-CBT, MI, or DBT is preferred.
