Position Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Kansas City, MO

Work Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential speech therapy services in a middle school setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students overcome communication challenges and will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Creating and executing tailored treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Delivering direct therapy services to a caseload of 26-30 middle school students.
  • Collaborating effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance students' communication skills.
  • Tracking and documenting student progress to ensure effective interventions.
  • Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to team discussions.
  • Adhering to all relevant federal, state, and district regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Missouri SLP Certification.
  • Preferred experience working with school-aged children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
