We are seeking a highly skilled Care Coordinator to join our team at AdventHealth Senior Care. As a Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences and providing high-touch assistance to our members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome members appropriately and accurately update, verify, and enter member demographics into our system.
- Provide education to members regarding test locations, portal use, and follow-up actions.
- Document all interactions within our designated system to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
- Schedule and confirm member appointments.
- Answer telephone calls in a timely and friendly manner, including documentation of the call.
- Collect copays, deposits, deductibles, prior balances, coinsurance, and self-pay payments at the time of service.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree from an accredited medical assistant program and certification in a relevant field.
- A flexible and positive attitude, with a welcoming and nurturing approach to our member population.
- Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
