Paraprofessional Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Paraprofessional to join our team at Soliant in Sanford, Florida. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting our educators and students, facilitating instruction, and contributing to a collaborative and supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist teachers with classroom management and instructional activities, ensuring a smooth and productive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support to students, including those with special needs, to help them succeed academically and personally.
- Help students with assignments and ensure they understand the material, promoting a deeper understanding of concepts.
- Monitor and record student progress and behavior, providing valuable insights for teachers and administrators.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans and educational materials, enhancing the learning experience for all students.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere for students, fostering a sense of belonging and community.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing materials and organizing classroom resources, to ensure a well-organized and efficient learning environment.
- Support the social and emotional development of students, helping them build essential life skills and confidence.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and needs.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed, with a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology, with the ability to adapt to new tools and systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to collaborate and contribute to the success of the school community.
