Job Description

As a Wind Energy Specialist, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining wind turbines, performing technical tasks, and troubleshooting errors.

You will work in a team environment, assisting customers remotely and onsite, and providing 2nd and 3rd level user support as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain wind turbines to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform technical tasks, such as basic commissioning and maintenance jobs
  • Troubleshoot errors and escalate technical issues to engineering functions
  • Assist customers remotely and onsite, providing 2nd and 3rd level user support
  • Coordinate and accomplish defined service operations and resolve product issues for customers' equipment
  • Contribute to planning activities and assist in generating sales leads for pre-defined service offers

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-6 months experience in a relatable field
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and evaluate/resolve issues efficiently
  • Ability to climb 85m ladders daily and work in stressful and sometimes dangerous situations
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required

Benefits

Siemens Gamesa offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
