About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Mammography Radiation Technologist for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Summary

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Mammography Radiation Technologist to work in a short-term acute care hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have experience in mammography and radiation technology, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transport patients as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • One to three years experience as a Radiation Technologist preferred
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
