Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Nurse/RN to join our team at Monroe One Board of Cooperative Educational Services. As a key member of our health services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Develop and implement individual health care plans for students with medical needs.
  • Monitor the use of medications and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
  • Conduct health assessments and sports certifications as required.
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to provide educational opportunities and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with school health care regulations and policies.
Requirements
  • Civil Service eligibility as a School Nurse.
  • Current New York State License as a Registered Nurse.
  • At least one year of experience as a School Nurse/Registered Nurse.
  • AED/CPR Certification required.
  • Proficiency in computer programs.
  • Preferred experience in school health or pediatrics.
  • Ability to perform CPR in a kneeling/floor-based position for a minimum of two continuous minutes.
  • Physical ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
What We Offer
