About the Role:

The Intermediate Care Unit is a 25-bed unit that provides care to a variety of patients, including those with cardiac conditions. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months
  • 1 year of experience as an RN in an ICU or critical care setting
