Compensation and Benefits

Competitive salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Electrophysiology Technologist to assist physicians with various procedures in the cardiac cath lab, including catheterizations, pacemaker implantations, and other diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians with electrophysiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Follow national and state radiation protection regulations to maintain a safe working environment
  • Perform pre- and post-procedure care, including patient monitoring during procedures
  • Operate RF/Cryo ablation systems, 3D mapping, and other procedural documentation equipment
  • Manage and process images related to cardiac and peripheral procedures
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields for lab procedures, ensuring proper stock and equipment maintenance
  • Coordinate quality control monitoring and performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Associates degree in a related field or 2 years of relevant cardiovascular lab experience
  • One of the following certifications: RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
