Job Summary:

The CRNA for El Paso Anesthesia Group at The Hospitals of Providence of Sierra is responsible for administering anesthetic care for diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Anesthetic Plans: Create individualized anesthetic plans, including monitoring modalities and post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care.
  • Conduct Pre-Anesthetic Assessments: Perform thorough pre-anesthetic assessments, documenting patient information and developing a plan of care.
  • Administer Anesthetic Agents: Select, obtain, and administer anesthetic agents according to established protocols.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited School of anesthesia approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
  • Experience: 2 years of clinical experience working in a physician office.
  • Certifications: Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Valid Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Licensed in applicable state within 30 days. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), PALS, and NRP.
