As a Radiology Technologist with Stability Direct, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of certified radiologists. Your expertise will be essential in producing accurate and reliable images for interpretation, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely image interpretation.
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
Requirements:
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and certification in Radiography from South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA).
- High school diploma or GED required; graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA, DHEC, FDA, and TJC standards and regulations.
Work Environment:
Frequent standing, walking, and lifting/moving patients. Intermittent lifting, moving, or carrying, pushing, or pulling, up to 50 lbs. Frequent use of finger/hand dexterity. Constant reaching with hands/arms. Frequent talking or hearing. Corrected hearing and vision to normal range. Exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue. Possible exposure to infectious materials, communicable diseases, and/or other conditions common to a healthcare environment. Frequent exposure to risk of radiation. Intermittent exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals. Intermittent exposure to risk of exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Quiet to moderate noise level in work area. Requires work under stressful conditions, deadlines, irregular hours. May be required to take call and/or work weekends/holidays based on the needs of the department.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 11:00pm - 7:30am + on-call weekends (anticipated to be one weekend every two months). No floating required to other locations.
