Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years; first-time travelers are welcome.
Patient Demographics: Adults to Geriatrics
Certifications Needed: BLS, ACLS, NIH
General Skills and Work EnvironmentThe nurse will encounter a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to:
- ARDS
- Sepsis
- Stroke
- STEMI
- DKA
- Post-operative complications
- Cardiogenic shock
- GIB
- COPD exacerbation
- Encephalopathy
- Liver failure
- Drug overdose
- ESRD on CRRT
Unit Systems: Familiarity with Pyxis, Epic, and SBAR is beneficial.
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Time Off: Maximum of 7 days
Weekend Work: Every other weekend required
Floating: Yes, within the facility
Holiday Requirements: Expected to work major holidays as specified in the guidelines.
Compliance and OrientationFull compliance is necessary to ensure timely start dates. Non-compliance may result in delays due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.
