Job SummaryWe are seeking a Full-Time Support Family Services Coordinator to join our frontline Mobile Response Stabilization Services (MRSS) team in Salisbury, MD. This role involves working with youth and their caregivers to assess, evaluate, and perform crisis intervention techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Promote youth and caregiver's health, self-direction, skill development, and ensure goals are developed for long-term stabilization.
- Provide education and resources to youth and their caregivers including but not limited to, community resources, support groups and networks.
- Serve as an advocate for youth and their caregivers.
- Assist in the wraparound planning processes and the development of crisis and other youth and family-driven plans for a warm hand-off to longer-term services and programs.
- Partner with youth, family/caregivers and other community agencies to broker positive relationships over an 8–12-week time period.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one (1) year professional experience (experience working with children and families in a community-based program preferred).
- Peer Recovery Specialist Certification (CPRS) or willingness to be certified within a one (1) year of employment (Sante will pay for your certification if you do not have it at the time of hire).
- Three (3) years personal lived experience caring for a child with behavior dysregulation, a mental health diagnosis, or dealing with a co-occurring disorder.
- Valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance.
- Estimated Salary Range: $37,440 - $54,000 per year based on experience and certification.
