Fellowship Events Coordinator

The Voice of the Martyrs is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to serve as a Fellowship Events Coordinator. This role will be responsible for executing logistical directions set by the Director of Fellowship Events to accomplish VOM's purpose of inviting Christians into fellowship with persecuted Christian brothers and sisters.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and recommend VOM's engagement with events/conferences in alignment with our core beliefs, mission, and strategic direction.
- Work directly with the Director of Fellowship Events to foster healthy partnerships with next-gen organizations to help disciple students into fellowship with the global church.
- Work with the VOM Fellowship Events team in creating a presence at national conferences, camps, universities, and other gatherings for the purpose of building fellowship, inviting Christians into prayer for our persecuted Christian brothers and sisters, and helping disciple believers to live out the Great Commission.
- Reserve and provide resources, displays, digital, and print material to execute the event/conference/campus.
- Provide feedback and summary reports to the Director.
- Provide administrative support through helping manage projects, be the primary contact for fellowship partners, schedule trainings and meetings, keep detailed travel expense reports, reimbursement reports, internal orders, and other documents as requested.
- Provide clear direction and objectives to speakers and volunteers that attend events on behalf of VOM.
- Be a champion and voice for persecuted Christians through clearly articulating the mission of VOM.
- Build a volunteer team to help meet standards of excellence in events and gatherings.
- Attend events as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years working with the general public in logistical support, customer service, customer relations, volunteer leadership, ministry experience, or a similar position.
- Strong phone presence and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions
- Typical office environment and hours.
- Must live in the area and office at VOM's headquarters in Bartlesville, OK.
- Requires lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Extended periods sitting and standing.
- Domestic travel (30%) - airports, hotels, church venues, conference venues, etc.
Special Requirements
- Discreet and careful communication with respect to keeping VOM work- and personnel-related information confidential.
- Must be a biblical disciple.
- Must participate in the spiritual life of the organization.
- Agree with and adhere to the VOM Statement of Faith.
- As allowed under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
