Responsibilities:
  • Liability Estimation Analysis: Lead the analysis of liability estimation for financial reporting of standard warranty, goodwill, campaigns, and other warranty coverages.
  • Long-term Forecasting: Oversee the internal forecast and short-term budget for warranty coverages and partner with business to identify risks and opportunities of future experience.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Reliability & Quality, Engineering, and other cross-functional business partners to support assumptions for warranty analyses and forecasts of new vehicles or issues.
  • Financial Modeling: Assist the business with financial modeling and perform ad hoc analyses such as cost benefit analyses.
  • Data Management: Manage the use of large datasets to support the warranty analyses and mitigate risk through establishing reasonable control checks.
  • Process Improvement: Take an active role in identifying opportunities to make processes more efficient and developing business insights.
  • Communication: Communicate technical results to various stakeholders in clear and supportable presentations.
  • Warranty Liability: Minimize warranty liability true-ups absent unexpected operational issues.
  • Forecasting Accuracy: Achieve and maintain high forecasting accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Business Process Experience: At least 6 years of business process experience.
  • Lead Experience: 3 years of lead experience.

  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Business Process Experience: At least 5 years of business process experience.
  • Lead Experience: 3 years of lead experience.

OR

  • Business Process Experience: At least 10 years of business process experience.
  • Lead Experience: 3 years of lead experience.
Additional Requirements:
  • Legal Authorization: Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Desired Skills:
  • Data and Financial Analysis: Strong data and financial analysis skills.
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience in warranty estimation process highly preferred.
  • Actuarial Estimates: Past experience in actuarial estimates/liability estimates, and product liability.
