We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at BluePearl Pet Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our hospital by providing exceptional client care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and make friendly contact with every client, offering a warm and professional acknowledgement.
  • Provide compassionate listening and clear communication with clients and their pets.
  • Assess client needs and determine the level of care required for their pets.
  • Respond to non-patient calls and visitors, connecting them to the appropriate team member.
  • Confirm appointments in advance and provide accurate information to clients about preparing their pets for the appointment.
  • Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients in a compassionate and discreet manner.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and service agencies during the handling of pet remains.
