We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Per Diem PACU team at NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn. As a Per Diem Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a collaborative and dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional patient care through the nursing process, collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medication and parenteral therapy in accordance with policy and procedure, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
- Establish effective caring relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, escalating situations as necessary to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Document patient assessment, reassessment, progress toward goal achievement, and all other required documentation accurately and timely.
- Must be a graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
- Registered Nurse License-NYS.
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
