We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses at Lone Star College. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lessons, evaluating student progress, and maintaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
Key Responsibilities- Teach ESOL courses at various times and locations
- Develop and implement instructional approaches to engage students in their learning
- Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback
- Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in TESOL/TESL/TEFL, Second Language Acquisition, Linguistics, or English where English is taught as a foreign language. Alternatively, applicants with a Bachelor's degree or higher with 12 hours of coursework in TESOL/TESL/TEFL, Second Language Acquisition, and Linguistics, or a Bachelor's degree or higher with a secondary/postsecondary TSEOL/TESL/TEFL certificate, CELTA, or DELTA may also be considered.
